My Story
Dogs have always been more than just pets to me — they’re family.
In 2012, I started a small pet sitting service in Maryborough with one simple goal: to care for people’s animals the same way I care for my own. What began as helping a few local families quickly grew into something truly special. I’ve had the privilege of caring for so many beautiful dogs over the years — each with their own personality, quirks, routines, and little habits that make them who they are.
While I no longer operate Maryborough House and Pet Sitters, those years taught me that exceptional care isn’t just about feeding and walking — it’s about connection. It’s about noticing when a dog is feeling unsure, understanding their body language, and creating an environment where they can truly relax and be themselves.
Paws at Play Dog Care was born from that belief.
Here, I focus on small numbers and individual attention. I’ve created a calm, enriching space where dogs can enjoy their own play areas, explore on daily bushland walks, and receive personalised care tailored to their needs. Whether your dog is confident and playful or sensitive and reserved, they are seen, understood, and cared for with patience and love.

At Paws at Play, exercise is a big part of what we do — but it’s purposeful and tailored. Daily bushland walks, safe play areas, and structured interaction give dogs the physical movement and mental stimulation they need to feel content.

Yes, your dog is welcome to come casually, and we also offer regular spots. Some families book occasional days when they’re away, while others prefer a consistent weekly routine for their dog. Both options are available, and you’re free to choose what suits your schedule and your dog best.
Yes, bookings are required. Because we run a small, personalised day care, booking ahead helps us plan the day properly and make sure everything is prepared for their day.
